Pagan Magic - Wicca & Witchcraft Shop
I came across this nifty pagan and wiccan website. Now I own an occult metaphysical shop and I have no problems with Promoting others in the business. This is not a paid offer. I felt the need to share this shop and website because lets face it we all can use some help in promoting our business. The Great Masquerade!
For many Halloween is a great time to dress up and be something or someone you are not. A great way to let an inner personality come forth and play with all your friends. For many it is a great opportunity to through a Masquerade or Halloween party as many call it these days.
Our family dresses up every year, the kids partake in trick or treating for a few hours. Then we all come home and start the festivities. My hubby and I got married 8 years ago on Halloween. We always through a little anniversary/Halloween party. We do the house and yard up it is different every year. While trick or treat'ers come up and get a little fright we are having a nice party going in the background.

My hubbys Shorts!
My hubby doesn't wear shorts oftain, mostly because of the line of work he does. But when he does he wears them out really fast. I even tried making him a pair of shorts but they didn't last long. We tried cut off jeans but the crotch is the first to go out. So I have been surfing the net for a pair of sturdy shorts that would last longer then a few months.
After much searching I believe I have found them! Of all places its a online store for Police Gear. So looking through it I was very happy with what I was reading. The price is a little scary but after thinking about it it is reasonable for the type of fabric and the durability of the stitching. So I plan to get him a pair very soon! Victorian Bustle Coat
This Victorian Coat was a custom order. It was just finished over the weekend and shiped to its eager owner on Monday. She should be reciving it soon. She had showed me some images and from those I had sketch a rugh idea of what she might like.
As you can see we had designed a lapeal and over flaps for the pockets. Since the time of the sketches I had worked on drafting the pattern certain things were taken out. The Lapeal was one of the first to leave the project. It looked good on paper but it just didnt look right on the Mock up I did.
You may have noticed in the sketches theire were 3 buttons well I decided to add a 4th becuse I had plenty of buttons and the 4th brought some balance to the coat. You may have noticed the over flaps in the sketches well when it came to the sewing the button hole in the flap we hit a major problem. The Velvet didnt like the idea at all. It jamed up in Willow's Sewing machine. It took her a whole day to get the pices of velvet out of her machine. So for now their are no Pocket flaps on it. She is working on a way to do them. The customer said if Willow could make the flaps and send them with instructions she could sew them onto the coat. The Final product of all this was a Purple Velvet Coat Lined with Gold Satain with gold satain ruffle cuffs on the sleeves. Their is Gold Metalic trim edging the whole project, Gold Rattail for the button loops and lace up loops in the back. 14kgold plated Buttons, and Gold wide ribbon for the laceing in the back. This allows the wearer to tighten or lossen the jacket For a form fitting look.
